Day 1: Journey through the Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and Dades Gorge
Our private trip begins with a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. We'll visit Ait Ben Haddou—a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its appearances in movies—and explore Atlas Film Studios and a Kasbah in Ouarzazate. Continuing towards Dades Gorge, we'll stop at Valley of Roses, known for its annual Festival of Roses. Spend your first night at a hotel with complimentary dinner and breakfast.
Day 2: Canyon Exploration and Desert Adventure - Todra Gorge, Rissani, and Merzouga Desert Camp
On this day, we continue our journey by 4x4 vehicle to Todra Gorge—an impressive narrow canyon popular among outdoor enthusiasts. Driving through Ziz Valley leads us to Erfoud—an oasis town recognized as the gateway to the Sahara desert—for a visit to a local factory producing fossil-based artisanal products. Explore Rissani's local souk before reaching Merzouga where you will embark on a camel ride into the desert dunes accompanied by experienced guides. Spend an enchanting night at Merzouga Desert Camp with traditional Berber food and music around a campfire.
Day 3: Immersive Sahara Experience - Camel Trekking or 4x4 Excursion in Merzouga Desert
Today is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga desert. Choose between a camel trek or a comfortable 4x4 vehicle to discover the beauty of this unique landscape. Visit Khamlia village, renowned for its traditional music, and witness the mesmerizing sunset behind Sahara's dunes. Enjoy local music and indulge in a traditional Berber dinner around a campfire.
Day 4: Sunrise Serenity and Mountain Scenic Drive - From Merzouga to Fes via Midelt
Start your day early to catch the sunrise in the desert before riding back on camels to a nearby hotel for breakfast and freshening up. We'll drive through Rissani and Erfoud towards Midelt—a town nestled in Atlas Mountains—for lunch. Afterward, continue driving to Fes where you will spend the night at a local hotel.
Day 5: Cultural Delights of Fes and Capital Charm of Casablanca
Explore Fes, Morocco's oldest city, known for its labyrinthine alleys and historic sites. Discover three distinct parts of Fes—Fes el Bali (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Fes-Jdid (home of the Jewish quarter), and Ville Nouvelle (created during French occupation). Later in the day, we'll drive to Rabat then head towards Casablanca. Visit attractions such as Tanneries, Attarine Museum, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, cooperatives showcasing local crafts before enjoying panoramic views over Medina of Fes. Spent overnight in Casablanca.
Day 6: Iconic Landmarks of Casablanca before Returning to Marrakech
In Casablanca, we will explore the iconic Hassan II Mosque before concluding our excursion in vibrant Marrakech.
